Benxit.nft (Ben) is a builder, networker, and marketer in the NFT space. He invests in NFT projects that innovate on how IP is owned and utilized, and specializes in connecting others who do the same. He is head of NFT partnerships for Unstoppable Domains and advises on partnerships for DeadHeads NFT and METACITZN. Ben's philosophy is that much of the NFT space is currently built on empty hype, and that this will eventually die off and only truly innovative creations will last. It is that foundation upon which the true potential of NFTs and blockchain technology will be built.
"I had been watching and researching the NFT space since Cyrpto Kitties, Crypto Punks and Hashmasks. After becoming involved in various projects from moderating to consulting I learned that there was a lot of mis-information about crypto and NFTs out there. I wanted to help create an inclusive safe space to learn about crypto and NFTs for the experienced and new-comers alike." An extensive background in restaurant/bar business development and project management. Designed restaurants all over the world, from concept to completion, including standard operating procedures and bar and kitchen recipes. A passion for food, spirits, wine, architecture, culture and art. A high tide floats all boats.
Hello, I’m Cryptovibing I hope to create a space that helps people get involved with NFTS and more importantly gives them the knowledge to choose the right projects for them.
"My journey in this space began in 2020, when Covid hit the US hard and led to shutdowns and ignited the need for digital as well as awareness of financial independence/adapting to a changing world. Knowing tech was more important than ever, I started to teach myself coding when I discovered a greater passion for stocks & crypto where I began modding for Mitch Ray TA (youtube crypto/stocks streamer). My journey of NFTs began with Zed.Run and then VEVE, Niftygateway, lgnd.art, & Makersplace before I discovered Opensea and minted my first generative/pfp (Sneaky Vampire Syndicate). Like many others I respect in this space, I spent much time collecting, studying, and learning before I began working in this space. I am known for my work with Toddlerpillars (which I helped grow & build that community, in addition to marketing/socials, managing discord, and twitter from August/September to December 2021). As of December I've been working with Elderly Ape Retirement Club in a similar position, with a larger team as well as helping out others in this space. My main passions and interest in this space are community, security, and education and seeking out/providing value instead of oversaturation."
I am a lover of all things nerdy which led me to start and host the podcast, The Nerd Cantina Show. The Nerd Cantina discusses the nerd topics of comics, movies, tech, and space. Through the research in tech for the show and some help from a certain degen friend(Don't Feed the Wolf), I found myself fascinated by the crypto world and began investing in crypto. Later I was introduced into NFTs through Sneaky Vampire Syndicate and then Deadheads which was followed by Toddlerpillars and now there are too many to name. I consider myself the worst NFT flipper in the degen space because in order to flip you eventually have to sell. My goal is to contribute to the NFT world and since I have little talent I am going to try to help those that are building here.
I am currently a college student in Indiana with the goal of becoming a financial advisor after I graduate. I became aware of NFTs in early 2021 and immediately fell in love, purchasing my first NFT a few months later in July. As I found myself spending an increasing amount of time in the space, I became aware of a lack of information that can be found in other investing/collecting spaces (stocks, sports cards, sneakers, etc.). I began writing articles in November with the goal of educating and entertaining those in the NFT space!
Phil has thoroughly enjoyed diving into the NFT space over the past year. It started with NBA Top Shot and has led to this point as one of the founders of this platform, wendrop. He has worked with a number of projects and currently helps as community manager of Deadheads NFT as well as being the host of Talking Headz via Twitch on Wednesday nights and the Graveyard Shift via Twitter spaces every Saturday night. Phil loves talking about NFTs and hearing from the many creators, developers, and collectors in the space. He feels so lucky to have connected with so many amazing people in this space. As an educator in real life, he is looking to help others learn more about the space as a new collector or artist as well as helping OGs continue to grow their reach in the space. He could not be more excited about this venture with Wendrop. Let’s build.
Youngest of the bunch. Currently works at one of the Major News companies doing Live TV. Tend to wear many different hats and always wanting to learn more. Had a passion for Sports Law but ultimately decided against Law school. Similar to everyone else in the NFT space, introduced into NFTs through NBA Topshot and then found Zed Run. While doing my research on Zed, I came across people with Bored Ape pfp's helping learn about the NFT space and didn't really understand it but knew I wanted to be apart of it. That led me down the rabbit hole of NFTs. Covid allowed me the time to sit and research more about the space. I first joined as a moderator for NFT Media Box with the Arabian Camel collection where I met a ton of influential people who helped shape me in the space. I then continued to help out some other projects in the space with the ultimate goal of trying to learn more and help build. I wouldn't be in this space if it for those Bored Ape pfp's helping me and to repay that, I want to help educate and give back to those looking to learn more about the space. With misinformation and failures in the space, it brings hesitation and disdain to the community. Theres so much potential but the education sector is lacking. We hope to be a place where people can learn and do it safely!
I worked sales for 10 years for various companies, ending up in a sales position for contractors of Bose, Sony and Samsung. I learned about Nfts from a friend who told me and my brother about Topshot. In the discord I found people talking about Crypto punks and crypto kitties so I went to twitter and found the Arabian Camels and started moderating and helping them sell 7k of a 10k collection. I took this experience into helping The Alienboy sellout there 10k collection. Along the road of holding and flipping nfts I found a group of gentlemen who had the same interests in nfts and we built a company to help consolte New Nft Projects. As the spaces changed and the NFT world became a target for scammers to take peoples money we decided to start WENDROP to help new and current nft collectors safe from the different scams and possible things to be alerted about. Its also a space we wanted to have people discuss openly about nfts and what the pros and cons would be. I hope Wendrop can help new people come into the spaces safely and help a whole new lot of nft users feel confidant on there NFT journey.
